Tradewind Community Church
SGBC is a church planting church!
Tradewind Community Church held their first service in September 2019 and continues to meet weekly.
Launching new churches in unreached parts of the city is one of the most effective ways –
and the biblical model – to fulfill the mission of Jesus.
Brad first joined the SGBC pastoral staff as Student Minister in April 2011, after which he was named Family Pastor in March 2015. As of May 2019, Brad has transferred into the role of Church Planting Pastor for SGBC's first church plant, Tradewind Community Church. He and his wife, Sarah, have two daughters (Lydia and Chloe) and three sons (Jude, and twins Silas and Micah).
Jonathan Dindinger joined SGBC's staff as Community Outreach Pastor in June 2018 and transitioned into the role of Associate Church Planting Pastor as of May 2019 for SGBC's first church plant, Tradewind Community Church. Jonathan currently oversees TCC's neighborhood events and evangelism efforts. Jonathan and his wife, Kami, joined SGBC in November 2007. They have three children, two boys (Gavin and Nathan) and one girl (Reese).
As the TCC Worship Pastor, Phil is responsible for the direction and execution of musical worship. His passion is to see Christ's body truly experience the Lord in a powerful way as they worship. Phil and his wife, Melissa, love spending time outdoors with their daughter, Norah.
After serving as ministry assistant at SGBC for five years, Kami is now the ministry assistant to Church Planting Pastor, Brad Newman, at Tradewind Community Church, SGBC's church plant. She assists with planning ministry opportunities, purchasing, and publicity, as well as assisting with TCC’s mobile church needs. Kami is married to Jonathan and they have 3 children, Gavin, Nate, and Reese.
Pray for TCC
Church planting begins and ends with prayer. Please pray that God will continue to use SGBC and TCC together in a mighty way as they share the gospel with our city.
