WHAT WON’T BE IN HEAVEN?

Arthritis or aching backs.

Wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or canes.

Stinky feet.

Past-due bills.

Hospitals, nursing home, or funeral homes.

Pornography, human trafficking, or the sex trade.

Mosquitos.

Cancer, heart disease, diabetes, or canker sores.

R-rated movies.

Broken relationships or broken pottery.

In Heaven, the morning news won’t report earthquakes, riots on college campuses, wars in every hemisphere, the dirty laundry of politicians, or the latest divorce of a Hollywood starlet.

In Heaven “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

When John was given his glimpse of Glory, he couldn’t find an ocean. “The sea was no more” (Revelation 21:1). The sea never stops churning. For the sea, there is no rest. I wonder…

In Heaven, “night will be no more; people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light” (Revelation 22:5). No flashlights. No nightlights. No lamps. No streetlights. Only Jesus, the Everlasting Light.

In Heaven, we’ll never feal weary. There will never be a sleepless night. There will be no fear or dread, no worry, no bitterness.

Wow! I’m gonna love Heaven!

“… think on these things” (Philippians 4:8, KJV).
