tradewind community church
SGBC is a church planting church! SGBC planted Tradewind Community Church in the Tradewind neighborhood of Amarillo in 2019.
The first preview service for TCC was held in April 2019, and Tradewind Community Church officially launched in September of 2019.

In the region:
casas por cristo
SGBC sends a team each October to Juarez, Mexico to partner with the Casas por Cristo ministry!
They build a home for a family, and they are able to share the Gospel with the many they come in contact with.
around the world
SGBC currently, partners with the Southern Baptist Convention's International Mission Board to support a missionary family in Lesotho, Africa. The family is working with native Christians to multiply churches in one of the most unreached places in the world.
SGBC also works alongside Reaching Souls International in their efforts to train and support national pastors in Africa, India, and Cuba.
Missions Offerings:
SGBC participates in three major mission offerings each year:

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, which supports missionaries in North America through the Southern Baptist Convention's North American Mission Board.

The Mary Hill Davis Offering, which supports mission efforts in Texas through the Baptist General Convention of Texas.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which supports missionaries around the world through the Southern Baptist Convention's International Mission Board.
