This week, we've compiled a list of upcoming SGBC family events that we’re most excited about in coming months. We hope you’ll join us!

 

Seek

There’s a place for every member of the family on Wednesday nights at SGBC! Seek began last week and continues from 6-7:15 p.m. every Wednesday. Study the Gospel of Jesus from the life of Joseph with us! Visit www.sgbcseek.com for details.

 

Movie in the Park

SGBC will show “Big Hero 6” on a mega screen in South Georgia School Park at 8 p.m. on Friday, September 15! Join us as we gather in our community to share the evening with our neighbors! Details are here: www.facebook.com/events/167139680514274/.

 

Gospel-Centered Parenting Conference

SGBC will present a two-day parenting conference on September 29-30! The event will feature sessions from the national conference of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. (A full schedule will be published soon!) Meals will be provided on Friday night and Saturday morning. Childcare will be available. The event is free; register by Sunday, September 24. Mission Trip to 5280 Church

Is your family called to go on mission this fall with SGBC to a church plant in Denver? Please pray about joining us at 5280 Church! The weekend mission trip is set from Oct. 7-9! Register by Sunday, September 24. Details are at sgbc.co/5280church.

 

Trunk or Treat

SGBC’s largest outreach event of the year is set from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31! The evening includes gobs of candy for kids, games galore, and much more! SGBC members can sign up now to volunteer at this year’s Trunk or Treat: https://sgbc.typeform.com/to/bwG9ew. Join us!

 

Also coming soon:

  • Worship and Discipleship. Beginning on September 10, SGBC will offer a variety of discipleship classes each Sunday at 5 p.m. Our littlest ones are invited for preschool choir, and a new combined Bible study for children and students also will be available! Details are at sgbc.co/sundayevenings.

  • Snack Pak 4 Kids Packing Event. SGBC will pack hundreds of bags of food for neighborhood kids at this event on Thursday, Oct. 5, at South Georgia Elementary School.

  • Exodus. The Student Ministry’s annual fall retreat is set for November 17-18 at High Plains Retreat Center. The event is for grades 7-12 and young adults ages 18-24. Details are forthcoming!
