Coming Soon! | Family Events at SGBC

This week, we've compiled a list of upcoming SGBC family events that we’re most excited about this Spring. We hope you’ll join us!

Spring Break Mission Day

SGBC will host a day of mission projects for kids and students during spring break.

Kids (including preschoolers with a parent) are invited from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15 for a morning mission project for SGBC’s homebound members. Students (grades 7-12) are invited for an afternoon of service at Arrow Child and Family Ministries. Lunch will be provided for all at noon. Learn more here.

The day ends with a churchwide Snack Pack 4 Kids Packing Event at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. More details are here.

Rooted: The Bible at Home

The entire family is welcome at Rooted! Parents, preschoolers, children, and students all are invited for a morning focused on how to read, study, and love the Bible!

Rooted will include age-specific breakout sessions, practical Bible study tips for families, and lunch. Registration is open now through Sunday, March 19, online at

Easter Bible Readings and Services

SGBC will publish a two-week Bible reading guide for Easter 2017!

From April 9 (Palm Sunday) through April 22, your family is welcome to join us as we study the centerpiece of the Gospel — the death and resurrection of Jesus — each day.

Families also are invited to SGBC’s Good Friday Worship Service on Friday, April 14, and, of course, to the Easter Sunday Worship Service on April 16.
